On behalf of the women of the Beta Delta Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta, welcome to our official website!
My name is Bella Marra and I am honored to serve as President of Gamma Phi Beta for 2023. Gamma Phi Beta, Beta Delta, was founded at Michigan State University in 1944 on the bases of four core values: love, labor, learning, and loyalty. Beta Delta is now home to nearly 170 unique and amazing women, who’s goal is to continuously inspire the highest type of womanhood at the collegiate level and beyond.
Philanthropy and service are very important pieces to our puzzle at Beta Delta and our presence in the Michigan State Community. Our philanthropic mission is Building Strong Girls. We partner with Girls on the Run to achieve our mission. Girls on the Run is an organization for young girls where they spend part of the school year learning ways to empower themselves and confront obstacles in a healthy way, finished by a celebratory 5k run. We are proud to partner with such a great program inspiring young girls to become strong women.
Joining Gamma Phi Beta at Michigan State University has been the most rewarding and empowering decision I’ve made in my collegiate experience. Through Gamma Phi Betas true and constant sisterhood I was able to find my lifelong friends and family who truly value and prioritize building strong women. Gamma Phi Beta has given me a platform to many opportunities where I can better myself and inspire young girls to reach their highest potential!
Each member of Beta Delta is unapologetically themselves, creating a sisterhood of authentic, strong willed, and likeminded women who constantly strive to build each other up and make each other stronger. I’m grateful everyday to be apart of this sisterhood and all that it has given me.
