A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
On behalf of the members of the Beta Delta Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta, welcome to our official website!
My name is Bella Marra and I am honored to serve as the Chapter President of Gamma Phi Beta for 2023. Gamma Phi Beta, the Beta Delta chapter, was founded at Michigan State University in 1944 on the basis of four core values: love, labor, learning, and loyalty. Beta Delta is now home to a large group of amazing women, whose goal is to continuously inspire the highest type of womanhood at the collegiate level and beyond.
Philanthropic service is a very important aspect of our membership experience here at Beta Delta. Our philanthropic mission is Building Strong Girls. We partner with Girls on the Run to achieve our mission. Girls on the Run is an organization for young girls where they spend part of the school year learning ways to empower themselves and confront obstacles in a healthy way, finished by a celebratory 5k run. We are proud to partner with such a great program inspiring young girls to become strong women.
Joining Gamma Phi Beta has shaped my collegiate experience in a way I never could have imagined. The true and constant sisterhood at this chapter has brought me my lifelong friends, who I can count on to be by my side every step of the way. The support system that is our chapter makes me thankful everyday that I went through the recruitment experience and found my forever home.
Each member of this chapter is special in their own way, creating a sisterhood of strong, authentic, and caring women who strive to build each other up. We bring out the best in each other and I feel so lucky to constantly be surrounded by such exceptional women.
I encourage you to explore our website and see what Beta Delta is all about whether you’re a potential new member, sister, family member or friend. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time if you have any questions about this amazing sisterhood!
